Honey Cornbread

Feeling like you need a little comfort food in your life? Try this recipe for Honey cornbread to accompany tonight's dinner! 🍯

Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees and butter a 9-inch Square dish or cast iron skillet
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk (if you don't have buttermilk you can use milk mixed with either a tablespoon of lemon juice or white vinegar and let it sit for 5 minutes)
2 eggs
4 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup of honey


Combine all your dry ingredients and make a well in the center, in a separate bowl combine your wet ingredients and pour them into the well and mix to combine (do not over mix) pour into prepared pan bake for 20 to 25 minutes
