Halloween can be a spooky and scary time of year- especially for children with food allergies. This year the Teal Pumpkin Project is a brilliant campaign to ensure a safe Halloween for all. By putting a teal coloured pumpkin on your porch you will be letting parents and children know that your house is a safe food allergy free place for their kids to visit on Halloween. It shows them that you are offering treats that are not food related. There is a ton of ideas both involving allergen free treats and offering treats that are small toys or other products.
Here is some non-food treats kids would love to receive this Halloween:

Food Treats that are allergy free-
- Rockets- Also known as smarties, These are free of milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soy. They are also vegan and Gluten-free.
- Smarties, Coffee Crisp, Aero, Kit Kat- conveniently found in their favourites box all of these treats are made in a NUT free environment in this case you could write Peanut Free on your pumpkin :)
- Bear Paws- Also made in a nut free facility all bear paw products are free from nuts and peanuts and a great alternative for Halloween.
